My first post-pants...

Hello sea of mediocrity, I am finally here to contribute.

Actually, this is genuine meaningful writing about our company and what has and is changing in our world of design and creative thinking.

[re]think-ing how anyone does something is constantly important. As a company, we're doing that very thing: re-thinking how we do all things from communication, to production, to design, to consumption, to just becoming better at what we do. Now more than ever people are willing to participate in change and are usually up for the challenge. So far this response has been positive within our company, and I'm damn glad to see it happening.

This morning we hosted an ideation workshop for a local business marketing group's members on how to get groups to think more openly, creatively, and freely. It went pretty well for a large group of 20, half liberal and half conservative business folk. It's always neat to see how people react and how their reactions can be drastically different from your preconceptions. I look forward to more and more public creativity sessions.

Who would have thought people would be interested in and willing to pay for creativity, and not just another built piece of shit.

I'm thankful I love and get paid for what I do and am constantly thankful I have a job in a creative profession where my gifts and interests can be utilized and flourish.

Life's good, see you next time...
